We are aware of everyones concern regarding hurricanes and your prescriptions. We have records securely stored both locally and out of town. If re-entry to our area is not allowed in a short amount of time, we will set up a remote site (with phone number to be posted) for your convenience. Please use CONTACT US page and we will get information to you as soon as possible.
Carr Drugs in Algiers is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday and from 10am to 3pm on Saturday. The new store is located at 3500 Holiday Drive (Behrman Hwy) next to Rouses Supermarket and across the street from Dr. Heitmeier’s office. We welcome everyone to come visit. We look forward to seeing familiar faces.
Also, our Marrero location at West Jefferson Hospital (Ph. 504 349-6185) is open (9-6, Monday-Friday) and our location in Gretna at Westside Shopping Center (Ph. 504 366-1200) is open (9-6, Monday-Friday and 10-3 on Saturday)
If you are out of the area and require a prescription refill, take your bottle and insurance information to any pharmacy and in most cases that pharmacy will call us and we can transfer your prescription information for you.
